Description
Alta Ski Area is a 66-year Utah tradition and a favorite with many locals. Alta is for skiers, and has consistent snow and outstanding terrain.Alta is situated at the top of Little Cottonwood Canyon amidst stunningly beautiful granite peaks. It is most noted for its expert runs and Utah's finest powder.
NEW FOR 2009-10:Alta has installed a skier-friendly, web-friendly, hands-free ticketing system. All ski products will be loaded on the Alta Card, which will have a chip embedded in it to allow access through entry gates to the lifts.
No Terrain Park at Alta this season.
Staying with tradition, Alta is a skier’s mountain - snowboarding is not allowed.
