American Fork Canyon Overlook Trail

This out-and-back trail will take you to a high viewpoint, from which you can see where the South and North Fork converge in American Fork Canyon. Mutual Dell, Mount Timpanogos, and Utah Lake are all visible from here. The trail itself is intermediate, although it gets a little tougher as it gets higher.

Expect an elevation change of about 1200 feet. Rocks nearer the summit and horse-traffic can prompt less experienced riders to get off and walk at points.
