Aspen Grove Summit Trail

Smooth trail broken up by rocks and roots to make it just a little tougher - an intermediate rider can manage the downhill, though, and possibly the uphill if they're careful.

 The Basics

Technical Difficulty: Advanced
Intermediate
Length: 2.9 miles one-way
Elevation: Elevation gain: 1200 ft
Time to Allow: 1-3 hours

 Directions to Trailhead

Take Alpine-Highland exit from I-15 and drive east up UT-92 until you're in American Fork Canyon. Pay the $3 fee and head six miles further. Go right at the North Fork junction and drive to Alpine Loop's summit. If you want to do the trail as an out-and-back, go three miles downward into Provo Canyon's North Fork.
