Capitol Reef offers hiking opportunities and some good scenic drives. Early settlers in the region planted orchards of cherries, apricots, peaches, pears and apples that are open for picking from late-June to October. The campground is pleasantly situated near the orchards in a grassy well shaded area.

The soil and climate in the Moab area produces excellent wine grapes which come from a dozen local growers scattered around the area. These grapes have produced over 30 award winning wines.

Cedar Breaks National Monument is a 3-mile wide, 2,500-foot deep amphitheater of wonderfully colored and eroded spires, ridges, and columns of sandstone. It sits 10,200 feet up in the heavy pine forests of the Markagunt Plateau.

Cherry Hill is located on 20 acres with more than 700 trees. We offer a water park with activities for young and old, Batting Cages, Video Games, climbing ROCK, Video Arcades, Snack Bars and Restaurant. Cherry Hill's campground has over 180 campsites accommodating tents and RVs up to 40 ft.

Dinosaur National Monument has two identities. The Quarry Area, contains a quarry with some 1,600 exposed bones from 11 different dinosaur species. Near the quarry is a short nature hike, a pleasant scenic drive, Indian petroglyphs, and the preserved cabin of a female homesteader.
