Kodachrome Basin State Park is a small, attractive park surrounded by colorful cliffs. Its most distinctive feature is unique rock pillars that rise up to 170 feet above the ground. Several short hiking trails wind through the park.

The LDS Office Building adjacent to Temple Square has an observation deck on the 26th floor providing a great view of Salt Lake City, the Wasatch Mountains, and the surrounding valley.

A very attractive heavily wooded large park. It features an aviary, a large pond with paddle boats, tennis courts, and a swimming pool.

The Lion House is the one time living quarters for Brigham Young, renowned early leader of the Mormon church. It is mainly used as a catered dining and reception center. The Pantry is open to the public for lunch Monday to Friday.
