There are several good opportunities for mountain biking in the Tushar Mountains east of Beaver. Your options are listed below.



Kimberly Road Expert 32 miles oneway 4 - 5 hrs.

Kimberly/Big John Flat Intermediate 23 miles oneway 1/2 day
This double track route follows the Kimberly/Big John Flat Scenic Backway from Hwy. 153 to I-70 at Fremont Indian State Park. A good portion is above the timberline with good views out over the range.

Puffer Lake Loop Intermediate 8 mile loop 2-3 hrs.
This popular route begins with the Skyline Trail in the Tusahr Mountains but branches off after about 4-1/2 miles on FS Route 129. It skirts along Puffer Lake and then intersects Hwy. 153.

Skyline Trail Intermediate 12 miles oneway 4-5 hrs.
