At 6,000 feet Beaver enjoys pleasant summers cooler than its neighbors to the south. The mountains are wonderful from late June into September. Fall brings great colors, making the scenic drives spectacular. The mountains get over 400 inches of snow a year. It begins falling in earnest in November and which is mostly melted by May.
