Near Black Hawk Equestrian Center (celebrity concerts /rodeos), 24 miles to Redmond Salt Mine (famous 100 year old salt mine still producing mineral salts 435-529-3294) and the Canyon of Gold driving tour (2 mile tour taking you to a quarter mile walk through the canyon's rich mining past).
Other attractions include Cove Fort Trail (old pioneer living open year round with blacksmith shop, livery stables, cabins 435-438-5547), Big Rock Candy Mountain, famous for its caramel colored rock formations, Fish Lake Resort 45 miles, Lake Powell 200 miles, and the beautiful Bryce Canyon National Park 105 miles.
