Fish Lake is a natural lake with 2,700 acres of fishing and boating waters at an elevation of 8,800 feet of cool, clear water which produces excellent rainbow, cutthroat, splake and brown trout. Fish Lake is world renowned for the mackinaw. These trophy lake trout have been caught up to 40 pounds. The surrounding mountains are covered with spruce, fir and aspen, providing excellent habitat for moose and large herds of deer and elk. Fish Lake provides the perfect spot for fishing, hunting, backpacking, hiking, scenic photography or just relaxing and enjoying the scenic natural beauty.
