Fish Lake is a natural lake with 2,700 acres of fishing and boating waters at an elevation of 8,800 feet of cool, clear water which produces excellent rainbow, cutthroat, splake and brown trout. Fish Lake is world renowned for the mackinaw. These trophy lake trout have been caught up to 40 pounds.
The surrounding mountains are covered with spruce, fir and aspen, providing excellent habitat for moose and large herds of deer and elk.
Fish Lake provides the perfect spot for fishing, hunting, backpacking, hiking, scenic photography or just relaxing and enjoying the scenic natural beauty.
Although fishing is excellent all season long, the fall season of September is often overlooked by sportsmen and recreationists. During this season, when fishing is at its best, the forests are a vivid splendor of autumn colors. The sportsman can combine grouse, goose, duck, elk, antelope and deer hunting with his fishing activities.
For the non-hunter-fisherman, Fish Lake and the surrounding high mountain valleys and meadows provide a quiet, peaceful beauty that cannot be surpassed.

Lodge: Our lodge features a cafe and dining room with a full menu of the finest family dining. The store provides staple groceries, camping supplies, soft drinks, ice, fishing tackle, and fishing and hunting licenses.New 3 bedroom duplex cabin.
Motel: Units have a spacious room which is fully carpeted and totally electric. Each room has two queen sized beds, full bath, and a small kitchenette and television.
Cabins: Two-bedroom cabins with full bath and kitchen. Each bedroom has a double bed.
Rustic Cabins: Two-bedroom cabins with panel ray heat, a propane hot plate for cooking, bathroom with basin and toilet. Nearby showers are provided.
Trailer Court: Provides full hook-ups, restrooms and showers.
Marina: Rental boats and motors, launch ramp, boat slips, trailer storage, auto and marine gas and oil, fish cleaning station.
Note: We do not provide eating or cooking utensils in motels or cabin units.
Motel and Cabin reservations require 50 percent deposit with reservation and the balance upon arrival. Deposits non-refundable unless cancellation received three weeks prior to arrival date. Reservations should be made well in advance.
