Hike among the spindly spires and pinnacles of Bryce, pedal your way to the Grand Canyon where scenic walks—and perhaps even a mule ride!—await, and venture along one of many trails that zigzag through Zion Canyon. With campsites perched on canyon rims and under the cool canopy of towering pines, Backroads allows you to truly feel the majesty and awesome power of these spectacular settings. Days 1-2 Bryce Canyon

Meet in St. George Walk along the rim of Bryce Canyon On a hike down to Queen's Garden, discover pink hoodoos and vivid rock formations sprouting from the canyon floor Keep your eyes open for desert creatures—like lizards and chipmunks—as they dart playfully across the landscape Relax at our campsite nestled amid the pines.

Days 3-4 Grand Canyon

En route to the Grand Canyon, pedal out of Bryce along the quiet Red Canyon bike path Indulge in a picnic lunch while admiring expansive high-desert views of the Grand Staircase Kids can join leaders on a mule ride, while adults hike along the rim.

Days 5-7 Zion

Pedal on crimson-colored roads while admiring the towering cliffs of Zion National Park Camp beneath the cliffs along the Virgin River Take your pick of satisfying hikes from easy walks past Emerald Pools to a thrilling climb to Angel’s Landing Experienced guides and instructors show kids the basics of rock climbing Venture into the water of the Virgin River on one of the park’s most famous hikes, the Narrows Cap the trip off with shopping in the town of Springdale.
