While you are in Phoenix, Cactus Adventures provides an opportunity to experience the beauty of the Sonoran Desert. Bike or hike on dedicated paths, mountain trails and green belts in the communities of Phoenix, Scottsdale and Tempe.

We guarantee you will have the desert adventure of your dreams while you relax and leave the route finding and planning to one of our experienced guides. Both hiking and biking trips are available.

When we started Cactus Adventures, there was no question in our minds where we would construct our guiding/rental location. We are located at the base of beautiful South Mountain Preserve with over 15,000 acres of preserved desert. All around Phoenix, less than 4 hours in any direction, lies THE BEST mountain biking and hiking in the world!! Below is a list of some of the biking areas we cover:

The hiking tours we offer include South Mountain Park and McDowell Mountain Park. You can also hike the Mogollon Rim, exploring the Sonoran Desert at elevations of 6500 feet. See beautiful desert flora and fauna on all of these hikes.

Cactus Adventures, in conjunction with Cactus Bike, has many different rental bikes for you to choose from to make your experience as memorable as possible!! SAVE time and money by leaving YOUR bike at home and renting one of our demo bikes. With a fleet of over 100 bikes, we have rental bikes for the WHOLE family.
