Description

Cedar Breaks Scenic Byway runs through the park for about 6 miles to four overlooks that provide different good views of Cedar Breaks. The southern portion of the park contains the most detailed forms and are best seen from Spectra Point/Ramparts Trail. You needn't hike the whole route, just take the trail about 100 yards to a good lookout. A small picnic area is across the highway from the visitor center next to the campground. (Wildflowers in the adjacent meadows are terrific in July and August.)
