The Markagunt Plateau east of Cedar City receives lots of snow each winter providing great snowmobile opportunities. There are established trails across the Plateau and also snowy forests and meadows for playing. Of note is a 45 mile loop connecting Cascade Overlook and Cedar Breaks National Monument and a route to Strawberry Point. Groomed trails are available near Duck Creek Village.
