Description
The Yampa River flows through town here, in a mountain valley 40 miles west of Steamboat Springs and 90 miles east of Dinosaur National Monument. Big herds of elk often can be seen roaming the pine forests and high meadows near Craig. You'll find plenty of hiking and biking trails to explore.
At the campground, swim in the heated pool and play horseshoes and tetherball. Kids keep busy with a big playground and a game room. And your dog will appreciate the expansive pet walk!
