DeMotte Campground is located within the North Kaibab District just 7 miles north of the entrance to the Grand Canyon National Park's North Rim. In addition to the unmatched views available in the park, visitors to DeMotte campground can enjoy excellent scenary and plentiful wildlife on the Forest. The North Kaibab is known for its large mule deer and the black bodied, white tailed Kaibab squirrel which lives only on this isolated plateau.
Tents, trailers, and small motorhomes under 22 feet are allowed, but no utility hookups are available. The elevation of this campground is 8800 feet, so nights and evenigs are always very cool.
