The Defiance House lodge is on a hill overlooking Lake Powell right at Bullfrog Marina. When entering the park just follow the signs to get to the top of hill. The lodge is a two-story building consisting of 48 rooms. The rooms are in a separate building from the front desk and restaurant. The second floor is considered lakeview. The parking lot side on the second floor over looks the mouth of Bullfrog bay. On the marina side you will overlook Water Pocket Fold range and part of Bullfrog Bay. Guests will find pop, juice and ice machines located at the end of the hallway for their convenience. Deluxe King: Has a king bed and upgraded furniture. This room is Lake view only. Standard View: Rooms are located downstairs only. These rooms have two queen beds or one king. Standard view rooms border the parking lot allowing easy access to your vehicle. Lake View: Rooms are located on either the 1st or 2nd floor and consist of either two queens or one king bed. The 2nd floor is considered lakeview. All rooms offer a color television with some cable stations and movie channels, an alarm clock and coffee maker with coffee. Guest will find a blower dryer in each bathroom mounted on the wall. On the parking lot side of the lodge when you walk out onto your balcony you will over look out to the opening of Bullfrog Bay. On the other side of the lodge you will overlook Bullfrog Bay and Waterpocket fold mountain range. All rooms offer a color television with some cable stations and movie channels, an alarm clock and coffee maker with coffee. Guest will find a blower dryer in each bathroom mounted on the wall.
