Nestled at the base of Snowbasin, a Sun Valley Resort, stands stately Earl’s Lodge, a 45,000 square foot rock and log dining facility.

The main dining area itself is a lusciously carpeted, spacious dining area seating 250 at richly appointed oak tables. Cozy up to one of the six delightful wood-burning fireplaces, or enjoy the bracing mountain air outside in our heated patio seating area, right next to the Little Cat chairlift and Needles gondola.

Our servery consists of a variety of serving stations, where you order directly from the cook and watch your food being carefully prepared. Earl’s Lodge is open daily from 8 am to 5 pm. A breakfast special is served from 8 am to 10 am and our luncheon is servery stations are open 11 am to 3 pm.

Seeking a change from typical ski resort fare? Prime rib dinners, rotisserie chicken and hot turkey and roast platters are prepared for you at our carving station. California rolls, udon noodle bowls, potstickers, and your choice of stir-fry entrées, including shrimp, are features of our stir-fry station.

We offer a unique selection of salads, soups, and sandwiches. Try our brick-pressed, chicken curry, or panini sandwiches; Italian Chop or Chinese Chicken salad; yummy French Onion soup with croutons and cheese; or keep to the well-known Caesar’s or house salads and soups. Deli sandwiches with potato salad are also available for those with no time to spare from the slopes.

A wood-fired oven cooks your specially ordered pizza to perfection, or stop at our grill for a more traditional fare of burgers and hot dogs, served with fries, and cooked as you watch. Our Reubens and hot pulled pork sandwiches are popular and delicious.

Make sure you leave room for one of scrumptious homemade pastries, pies or cakes, or enjoy a fresh fruit bowl.

Beverages are all self-serve with the exception of our draft beers, two of which are microbrewed especially for Snowbasin. Or you can enjoy a wider variety of drinks from our restaurant lounge, which serves wine and mixed drinks. Take your servery meal into the lounge or order one of their mouth-watering appetizer selections. Restaurant lounge hours are noon to 5 pm.
