Description
Lucerne Valley Campground at Flaming Gorge Reservoir offers some of the most beautiful and scenic wilderness and wildlife areas in the country. We operate on the reservoir and offer a unique view of the lake and the diversity of the makeup of the lake shore ranging from the beautiful pine forest shores of the south end, to the beautiful red rock cliffs and sandy coves and beaches of the north end.Lucerne Valley Campground at Flaming Gorge Reservoir is located next to Lucerne Valley Marina and boat ramp. It is located on the Lucerne Peninsula across from Linwood Bay where the largest Lake Trouts spawn. Daily visitors to your campsite include ground squirrels, and antelope.
Power is available at selected sites at the campground, Water, garbage, a dump station and fish cleaner station are located in the complex. Each loop has flushing toilets. Please note that there are many sites that are first come/first serve so if the reservations are full we still have plenty of sites to offer.
With beautiful mountain and lake vistas you are assured a great scene from anywhere around this great lake.
We also operate the following campgrounds: Browne Lake, Deep Creek, Spirit Lake, Red Canyon, Canyon Rim, Green’s Lake, Skull Creek, Sheep Creek, Willows, Manns, Carmel, Navajo Cliffs, Lucerne, Stateline Cove, Hideout Boat-in Campground, Kingfisher Boat-in Campground, and Buckboard Campground.
