Flaming Gorge Fishing

Flaming Gorge Lake is one of the premier fishing destinations in the state. It is nationally renowned for its trophy lake trout and presents excellent opportunities for small mouth bass, Kokanee salmon and other cold water fish.

The Green River below the dam enjoys its own fine reputation for trout fishing in a beautiful setting. Boats of choice for fishing the Green River below the dam are two-person dories. The river holds good quantities of rainbow, brook, cutthroat and brown trout.
