The Fremont River is nestled in the heart of south-central Utah. High atop the Fishlake National Forest is where you will find it’s headwaters which are home to wild cutthroat, brook and brown trout. As you descend the higher elevations, the Fremont River brown and rainbow trout are more prevalent. The lower sections are located between the famous Boulder Mountains to the south and Thousand Lakes Mountain to the north.
