The Green River through Split Mountain is a popular single-day trip in Dinosaur National Monument. It features a series of Class 3 rapids -- Moonshine, SOB, Schoolboy and Inglesby. Takeout is at Split Mountain Campground in the quarry area of Dinosaur National Monument.

Location: Through Dinosaur National Monument in the northeast corner of Utah
Length: 8 miles
Time to Allow: 1/2 to 1 day
Season: April to October with a peak in late May or early June
