Joes Valley Reservoir is an attractive 1,200 acre lake set attractively 7,000 feet up in the forests of the plateau. Boating, water skiing and fishing are popular at the lake.

The lake is stocked with rainbow and cutthroat trout. Joes Valley Marina (435-381-BOAT or toll-free 866-596-7433) at the lake rents fishing boats with motors and operates a cafe. A Forest Service campground lies along the western shore of the lake.
