Joes Valley Reservoir, located on the eastern slope of the Wasatch Plateau, is a 1,200 acre lake set attractively 7,000 feet up in the forests of the Manti-La Sal Mountains. We are just 13 miles west of Orangeville, Utah on SR 29. Joes Valley is one of Utah's premier sport fisheries. The reservoir contains some of Utah's largest trophy splake and is stocked with tiger trout, cutthroats and rainbows.
Above the lake at higher altitudes, above 8,000 feet, there are mountains, meadows and smaller lakes and streams. There are many unmarked, secluded camping sites available in the mountains on Forest Service ground a few miles above the reservoir.
This area offers world-class hunting, fishing, bouldering and ice climbing.
Summer Recreation: Boating, fishing, water skiing, personal watercraft, hiking, biking, camping, horseback riding, mountain biking, motorcycle trails and ATV trails are popular at the lake.
Winter sports: When the weather turns cold and snow begins to pile up head for Joe's Valley. Snowmobiling, backcountry skiing, ice climbing and ice fishing around the reservoir will provide hours of enjoyment.
Joes Valley Marina provides a boat launch ramp, docks, boat rentals and C-Store with fishing and camping supplies.
In the future we will add a full-service kitchen, dinning room, group accommodations and cabins.
Our operation compliments our sister company, Extreme Adventure Rentals, which rents boats, personal watercraft, ATVs, snowmobiles and other recreational equipment.

It is our desire to provide each of you a specialized, professional service that enables you to more fully enjoy your extreme adventures.
