Named for its naturally formed ochre-hued arches, the strangely beautiful highlights of arid Arches National Park are best seen on foot or via a vehicle on a leisurely sight-seeing drive.
Located at the bottom of Losee Canyon, the trail follows the canyon floor, winding through the red hoodoos and the many colored sandstone cliffs up to the higher elevations of the Red Canyon area. This trail connects with the Cassidy Trail (FS#. 093) which will take you north to the Casto Canyon Trail (FS#089) to make a loop back to the Losee Canyon Trailhead or south to the Cassidy Trailhead east of the Red Canyon Visitor Center on Highway 12.
