Description

Muley Twist Canyon is a noted backpacking area accessible from the Notum Road. It is a beautiful deep canyon cut into the waterpocket fold of Capitol Reef. This trail climbs slickrock up the waterpocket fold, winds through the superb, deep Lower Muley Twist canyon and then returns through a broad grassy valley.
