Minnetonka Cave is an interesting nine room 2,000 foot long limestone cave containing an impressive array of stalactites and stalagmites. Forest Service guides conduct 1 to 1-1/2 hour tours of the cave from mid-June to Labor Day. Tours start every half hour from 10 to 5:30. The tour requires descending and ascending about 450 stairs, so wear comfortable shoes. Also, you'll want to dress warmly as the cave temperature is a damp 40 degrees (F).
