Climate
Moab is best visited in spring and fall when temperatures are moderate. The heat in summer is frequently oppressive, making outdoor activities a challenge. Moab is not much visited in winter, though Arches and Canyonlands national parks with a dusting of snow are beautiful. Typical of a desert environment, temperatures drop quickly at night even in the warmest months.
