Monument Valley - Scenic Drives

Monument Valley Lodging
Monument Valley Lodging

A very bumpy 14 mile dirt road provides good views of Monument Valley. The road winds about in among the Mittens. Plan to spend at least a few hours driving, observing and taking pictures. (The route is not recommended for low clearance vehicles or RV's longer than 24 feet and is not drivable when wet.)

Please note, that visitors in private vehicles are confined to a small portion of the park. For information on Tour Companies that will take you on more expansive and interesting adventures through the park, see Sightseeing Tour Companies. These are generally quite interesting and inexpensive.
