Located in Montpelier, Idaho 320 North 4th Street is at the junction of U.S. Highways 89 and 30. The home of “Living History” depicting the pioneers who traveled the Oregon & California The Center is one of the newest attractions in the for visitors interested in the history and heritage of the Oregon Trail and settlers of the Bear Lake Valley. The Heritage Center features a state-of-the-art 100 seat theater used by the community and other groups by appointment. “Living History” tours include a cast of players portraying pioneer travelers resting at the Clover Creek Encampment area of the Oregon Trail on which the Center is actually built. You can also enjoy exhibits and displays of artifacts and memorabilia in the Daughters of Utah Pioneers Museum at the Trail Center.
