Newspaper Rock is a BLM campground located on Hwy. 211, 28 miles northwest of Monticello. It is adjacent to the famous Indian petroglyph panel known as Newspaper Rock. The campground is pleasantly set among cottonwoods along the Indian Creek (though rather close to the highway).
