Deer Valley Resort
  The charm and solitude of Deer Valley Resort’s secluded mountain setting is found just 36 miles from the Salt Lake City International Airport in Park City, Utah.
     
Heber City Population: 5,900
  Heber City is a midsize town situated in a farming valley between the Wasatch and Uinta mountain ranges. In summer it serves as a convenient stop for travelers exploring the Uinta or Wasatch Mountains. In winter it serves as a relatively inexpensive source of lodging for skiers from Park City.

  Salt Lake City is the cultural and political center of Utah. With over 1 million residents in the metro area, it is Utah's most populace city, yet remains remarkably pleasant and livable. Bordering the city are the stunningly beautiful Wasatch Mountains which provide the some of the best downhill skiing opportunities in the country. In summer, the mountains provide wonderful hiking and mountain biking opportunities. In the city itself is a good selection of restaurants, nightclubs and cultural opportunities.

Uinta Mountains
  The Uinta Mountains are Utah's tallest mountain range with 6 peaks exceeding 13,000 feet. The Uintas contain beautiful alpine forest scenery, grassy meadows, cold clear streams and thousands of alpine lakes. Scores of trails meander through the woods providing hiking and horseback riding opportunities and, in certain areas, mountain biking. Camping opportunities are plentiful both at designated forest service sites and at dispersed sites throughout the range. Fishing in the periodically stocked lakes can be sensational.
     
Wasatch Mountains
  The Wasatch Mountain Range runs from north to south from Logan, past Ogden and Salt Lake City to Provo. Along its length are thousands of miles of hiking and mountain biking trails, pretty rivers and great scenic drives. Twelve ski resorts operate in the Wasatch and are consistently blanketed with piles of dry powder. For information on the Wasatch, select Logan, Ogden, Salt Lake City or Provo.
