This camping area sits between two knobs with good views of the Straight Cliffs and close to good views of the Escalante River canyons. It is about 9 miles east of Escalante. The sites are located in a large flat area between two radio relay antennas on the south side of Hwy 12. Take the dirt access road to the antennas just east of mile marker 68.
