Description
This suburban crag of weathered quartzite is a good starting series of climbs to start beginners on, provided they're accompanied by non-beginners! This is all about sport climbing, although trad is possible. The routes are well-bolted (sometimes over-bolted), and even labeled. How user-friendly can you get? Do keep in mind that although Red Rock is pretty mellow, some of the routes are a fairly hairy 5.8 plus. Keep to 5.6s like the Baby Teeth route if you're just starting out. (Yes, these routes were either created by a dentist, or by someone with a dentisty sense of humor.)Location
