The Zion Park Scenic Byway traverses beautiful red rock scenery along the Virgin River from the town of Hurricane and into Zion National Park. Shortly after entering the park, the road climbs steep switchbacks out of Zion Canyon through interesting slickrock formations and some long tunnels in the eastern portion of the park. .
