There are several sites along an old 1/2-mile section of the Burr Trail road. Drive 7.6 miles east of Hwy 12 (1.3 miles east of Deer Creek Campground) and turn north onto a dirt road. Camp at one of several spots on the north side of this road. (The road rejoins the Burr Road pavement through a deep sandy area).
