Steinaker State Park is located just to the west of Hwy. 191, 5-1/2 miles north of Vernal. Its campground sits along the shore of the Steinaker reservoir, partially shaded by juniper and cottonwoods. The surrounding park has swimming beaches, a boat ramp and courtesy docks.
