Steinaker State Park
|
Steinaker Reservoir and State Park is located in the dry foothills of the eastern Uintas about 6 miles north of Vernal. Some pinyon pine, juniper and cottonwoods grow along portions of the shore, but most of this large 750 acre reservoir is exposed. It has a decent swimming beach, boat ramp, picnic areas and a campground with modern facilities.
