Blink and you'll drive right past this little sushi haven in Sandy. Tucked away in a strip mall, Sushi Express looks a bit like an ice-cream parlor at first glance. A few Japanese prints decorate the walls and white paper lanterns hang from the ceiling above the sushi bar. There are a few seats along the bar, and individual tables line the wall. Fresh and fast. Sushi Express offers five sushi and sashimi specials served with miso soup and salad. Or you can order a la carte from a variety of nigiri, uramaki, hosomaki or special rolls. For all you non-meat eaters, or the faint of heart, there are a number of vegetarian rolls. The California roll and three nigiri sushi ($6.25) is a good place to start if you want an introduction to the world of raw fish. Or be more adventurous and piece together a meal from the rest of the menu.
