Affordable, Clean & Comfortable! The Hat Rock Inn is the perfect place to stay when visiting Monument Valley. The inn sits 100 feet above the Gypson Rapids (class III) of the San Juan River. Currently, access from the motel to our private, as of yet undeveloped beach, requires a 1/4 mile walk along a cliffside trail that adjoins a dirt road, you may also drive to a public beach!
The river is great for swimming, tubing & rafting
Please note that as we are NOT a part of the Navajo Reservation, BEER & ALCOHOL are available along with the freedom to hike, bike, & ride horseback virtually anywhere you wish! We also have some great jeep & 4-wheeler trails, all trails are accessible from anywhere in town!
