Beaver		Population: 2,500

	Beaver is a pleasant little town along I-15 at the western base of the Tushar Mountains. The Tushars are a pretty range with a good network of hiking and biking trails, campgrounds and small lakes. Beaver has a number of small hotels, RV parks and casual places to eat.

Cedar City		Population: 19,000

	Cedar City is a mid-size city along I-15 just east of the Markagunt Plateau. It serves as a base for those exploring the plateau and as a more distant base for those visiting Bryce Canyon and Zion national parks. In late summer the city hosts a very popular Shakespeare Festival.

Richfield		Population: 7,000

	Richfield is a mid-sized town along I-70 that serves as a good travelers' stop. It has plenty of convenient places to stay and a selection of places to eat. It is within easy driving distance of Fish Lake, the Tushar Mountains and the southern reach of the Wasatch Plateau.
