Description
This route follows dirt roads along the edge of Ashdown Gorge Wilderness past brightly colored rock formations and through meadows and forests. It ends at the top of High Mountain and its great panoramic views. Twisted Forest gets its name from the forest of gnarled bristlecone pines it passes. At mile 4.5 is a short hiking trail through the bristlecone pines to a lookout over Cedar Breaks National Monument. Springdale Cycles offers a Mountain Bike Tour and a Road Bike Tour in this area.
