Mountain biking trails vary from the flat path of the Union Pacific Rail Trail to moderate, rolling terrain of the Round Valley and Glenwild networks, to steeper, more challenging trails that reach summits Bald Mountain, 9990 Summit and Jupiter Peak. The variety of the Rocky Mountain terrain, plus low annual rainfall, are key conditions to making Park City excellent for biking. Jordanelle Reservoir: Jordanelle
Reservoir is a large reservoir set in a valley east of the Wasatch
Mountains. Jordannelle State Park consists of two developed areas
along it. They offer fishing, boating, camping and picnicking
opportunities.
Deer Creek Reservoir: Deer
Creek Reservoir also provides good boating, sailing, water skiing
and fishing opportunities. Strong predictable winds in summer
make it a particularly popular sailing and windsurfing locale.
Deer Creek State Park (801-654-0171), which surrounds the shoreline,
has several boat ramps, picnic areas, swimming beaches, a restaurant,
store and modern campground. There is also a resort and marina
that rents watercraft.
Strawberry
Reservoir: Strawberry Reservoir is a huge body of water
that offers great opportunities for boating and fishing. There
are a few recreation complexes around the lake offering camping,
picnicking, and marina services.
Rockport
Reservoir: Rockport Reservoir is a popular destination
for fishing, water skiing, swimming and sailing. Water skiing
is good early morning and dusk and afternoons present good
sailing breezes. Five campgrounds offer both developed and
primitive camping in a variety of settings.

Heber: Heber City is a midsize town
