The lakes and streams of the Uintas offer many great fishing opportunities in beautiful settings. Over 600 of the Uintas' thousands of lakes and rivers are stocked regularly (by airplane) with trout fingerlings. Your luck with often vary considerably by lake. When a particular lake was last stocked is of particular importance though other vagaries of fishing enter into it. If they're not biting at one, anglers usually simply hike to another nearby.
