Adventure Tours:

• Canyon Sunset Adventure - Enjoy sunset 800 feet above the Escalante River overlooking the Escalante River Gorge. At our "secret" sunset viewpoint, you'll find yourself contemplating the power of nature, the tenacity of early cultures, and the beauty that surrounds us. In addition to the awesome sunset views, we'll discover traces of Fremont Culture occupation and provide you with an overview of the plants and animals that inhabit the area.


• Slot Canyon Adventure - See first hand what happens when rushing water meets exposed sandstone...slot canyons! You'll appreciate the power of erosion as we traverse these wonders of nature.


• Phipps Wash Adventure - We'll begin with a hike overland down into the stunning red rocks of Phipps Wash. The scenery rivals Sedona, but the quiet and solitude are incomparable. Birds and other wildlife abound in the rich streamside environment of lower Phipps Wash. The streaked red walls of the canyon contrast nicely with the deep greens of mature Fremont cottonwoods growing in the canyon bottom. Then it's on to Phipps Arch, an exciting ascent out of the canyon to a wonderland of exposed slickrock domes, hoodoos, and the arch.


• Egypt 3 Slot Canyon Loop - Great views on the approach are just one of the highlights of this long, sustained and varied slot. We take an interesting slick rock cross country return demonstrating route-finding and navigation skills. This route includes scrambling, descending slick-rock chutes, traversing steep terrain around potholes and domes and descending steep terrain.
