Ute Tower Historic Site

The Ute Tower is a working fire lookout tower in the Uinta Mountains southwest of Flaming Gorge. It was the first built such tower in Utah (1937) and the last still operating. Visitors are welcome to climb up it for great views of the Uintas and Flaming Gorge Area. The Ute Mountain Hiking/Biking Trail begins here.
