Description

On Saturday, June 17th, 2006 the Millcreek Township will host its first annual Venture Outdoors Festival at Canyon Rim Park. Venture Outdoors is a free, family-friendly event featuring live music, a 4.2 miles twilight race/walk, kid's race, recreation clinics, guest speakers, giveaways, special children's activities, and plenty of food as part of the festivities.

This festival showcases recreation clinics to encourage participants to discover and explorer the wealth of outdoor recreation opportunities available in Utah. Clinics will promote cycling; mountaineering, golfing and bird watching and help participants learn the basics of each sport.
