Green River - Desolation and Gray Canyons Up to Class III
4 to 6 days
Desolation and Gray Canyons are located deep within the rugged and remote Canyons.Desert / Red Rocks of central Utah. Through the canyons are 60 rapids, mostly ClassI (FLAT) and 2 and some Class 3.


Green River - Lodore to Echo Park Up to Class IV
3-4 days
The Canyon of Lodore runs 19 miles to Echo Park at the confluence with the Yampa River. It contains the best rapids on the river, including Disaster falls, Triplet Falls and Hell's Half Mile -- all Class 3 rapids. At the confluence the river widens and picks up speed as it heads west 17 miles through Whirlpool Canyon to Ruple Ranch. This section contains good, though less frequent rapids. At Ruple Ranch the river widens and slows, and gently meanders 5 miles through the Island Park area to Rainbow Park. .


Green River - Split Mountain Up to Class III
1/2 to 1 day
The Green River through Split Mountain is a popular single-day trip in Dinosaur National Monument. It features a series of Class 3 rapids.


White River - Bonanza to Ouray Class I
1 -5 days
White River Canyon provides some pleasant flat water canoeing 40 miles south of Vernal. The river is isolated and pretty. There are several different points to put-in and take-out enabling trips from one day long to a week.
