The Wide Hollow Reservoir in Escalante State Park is a popular local recreation spot offering fishing, swimming and boating opportunities. The reservoir has good fishing for rainbow trout. Canoes can be rented along the shore. This surrounding park features colorful deposits of mineralized wood.
