Named for its naturally formed ochre-hued arches, the strangely beautiful highlights of arid Arches National Park are best seen on foot or via a vehicle on a leisurely sight-seeing drive.
Turret Arch, North Window and South Window are located along the relatively easy Windows Trail. All of the arches stand about .4 miles into the trail, but continuing on the loop provides a perspective from the back side of North Window and South Window. Turret Arch is 65 feet high and 35 feet wide; North Window is 48 by 90 feet; and South Window is 56 by 155 feet.
