Located on a high desert mesa between the 11,000-foot peaks of Boulder Mountain and Thousand Lake Mountain, the Sandstone Inn offers breathtaking views of the domes, buttes and monoliths of Capitol Reef. In addition to Capitol Reef, the area boasts outdoor recreation options galore in Dixie National Forest and Fish Lake National Forest. Arches National Park and Bryce Canyon National Park are both approximately two and a half hours away from the Sandstone Inn.

Our 50 clean, spacious rooms provide comfortable beds (queen or king) and beautiful views of the surrounding scenery from our hilltop location. Capitol Reef National Park looms in the distance. We offer some handicap-accessible rooms, rooms with private balconies, and a honeymoon suite with a Jacuzzi tub. Every room offers free high-speed Internet access.
